Staff Pharmacist job in New York. Under the general supervision of the DOP and according to standard procedure, compounds and dispenses medication and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders and prescriptions from the physician. Participates in designated patient medication monitoring activities as defined by department procedures approved b the medical staff. This is currently a night shift position where pharmacist is to work on 11p-7a shift. Once positions are filled, shift will go to 7 days on 7 days off with no call. Salary 80-100K with full benefits and relocation assistance. This is a non profit, 168 bed hospital, which consists of three hospitals. The main hospital consists of 186 inpatient beds and comprehensive ancillary and support programs and services. Significant renovations have occurred throughout the facility recently. Medical/Surgical patient units have been completely renovated as have the hospital waiting and registration areas. In addition to the main hospital building, the hospital campus includes the Health Services Center, Cardiac Rehabilitation Center and several physician offices. The Dialysis and Primary Care Center building includes a dental center, the dialysis center, the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine, and physician offices. Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy required. Masters preferred. Licensed and registered in New York State or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in New York state.
